Farha Kamalia, M.A.

Farha Kamalia is a researcher at the Research Centre for Politics and Government (PolGov), Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada. She completed her undergraduate study at the Department of International Relations in 2015. During her study, she was involved in joint research between the Program on Humanitarian Action Institute of International Studies, Institute of International Studies, Universitas Gadjah Mada and Revitalizing and Enriching Society through Pluralism, Equity, and Cultural Transformation, Osaka University. She also earned her master’s degree in Religion, Politics and Society from the University of Birmingham in 2020. Prior to joining PolGov, she was a researcher at the Center for the Study of Islam and Society and involved the CONVEY Indonesia, which is a collaborative programme with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in preventing violent extremism.
