Fitria Yuniarti, S.Ant., M.A.

Fitria Yuniarti, S. Ant., M.A. is a research staff at the Research Center for Politics and Government (PolGov), Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIPOL), Gadjah Mada University. Fitria completed her Bachelor of Anthropology studies at the Anthropology Department, Gadjah Mada University in 2012. During her study period, she was involved several times in ethnographic research activities and also joined as a student-researcher at the Intercultural Tandem Project between Freiburg University-Germany and Gadjah Mada University-Indonesia in Freiburg, Germany in 2011. After that, she worked for a long time in consulting company and NGO focusing on mining and sustainable development issues. During her work, Fitria was heavily involved in various research and empowerment programs in Aceh, North Sumatra, West Kalimantan, Riau Islands, West Java and West Papua. Fitria later earned her Magister from the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Gadjah Mada University in 2021. Issues around natural resources and gender are her main interests in the world of research.
