Friday, 19 February 2020 at 07.30 WIB, the first class of the Strengthening Public Organization Capacity course has started. The first class, which was opened to the public, was filled by lecturers namely Prof. Dr. Pratikno, M.Soc.Sc, Dr. AAGN Ari Dwipayana, Sigit Pamungkas S.IP, M.A, Drs. Bambang Purwoko, M.A. and attended by around 170 general participants and class participants.
This inaugural class discusses how to transform a public organization or company into a healthy, strong and profitable organization. The purpose of holding this class is to inspire participants to understand capacity building strategies in a relevant and contextual manner, to increase knowledge and skills constructively to strengthen capacity contextually, and to learn with leaders of government organizations, BUMN and companies who are inspirations of constructive change.
According to Prof. Dr. Pratikno, M.Soc.Sc, capacity is dynamic, which means that capacity can change according to changes in time, place, and challenges from time to time. For public organizations and companies, the ability to withstand the challenges from time to time depends on the capacity of the organization or company to adapt to the context so as to reach a point called “the right time and the right place”.
