Ignasius Jaques Juru, M.A. is a researcher at the Research Centre for Politics and Government (PolGov) Department of Politics and Government, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada. He has been involved in many research about democracy, citizenship, civil society, tolerance, and border politics. He is the author of book entitled “Dislocation of Citizenship Discourse” (2013) and he is also a co-author of forthcoming book chapter “Boundary-Crossers: Moving between Civil Society, State, Political, and Economic Fields in Cambodia and Indonesia (co-author with Prof. Haryanto & Astrid Noren-Nilsson).
