Ashari Cahyo Edi, M.P.A.
Ashari Cahyo Edi received his undergraduate degree from the Government Science Programme UGM (2008) and his master’s degree from the School of Public Policy and Administration, University of Delaware, United States (2013). Ashari began his career as a researcher with the Institute for Research & Empowerment (IRE) before joining DPP.
Ashari has considerable managing democracy and governance programmes funded by international institutions, including USAID, UNDEF, the Ford Foundations, AusAid/DFAT, and IRI. In 2015, he served as Visiting Fellow at the School of Politics and International Relations, College of Arts and Sciences, Australian National University. In 2017, he took part in the spring course on Democracy and Social Democratic Development in the Global South" at the University of Oslo, Norway. Ashari will soon depart for the United States, where he will complete his doctorate studies at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs, State University of New York at Albany, using a Fulbright Grant.

Ashari is currently carrying out a study assignment to continue his doctorate studies, so he has not been involved in lecture activities at the Department of Politics and Government.
